Protecting Life Must Be the Priority

Did you know that self-managed "DIY" abortions are still legal in Alabama even though the abortion clinics are shut down?

That's right.

Any pregnant woman in this state can take an abortion pill, and there is nothing that can be done to stop her.

We so desperately need to treat abortion as murder so that preborn children can finally receive the legal protection they deserve!

Our friends at the Foundation to Abolish Abortion recently compiled an enlightening report.

They discovered that states with so-called "abortion bans" - including Alabama - continued with massive numbers of self-managed abortions.

In fact, they concluded that 3,668 preborn children were likely murdered in our state in the year following the Dobbs decision.

Can't you see?

Alabama's "abortion ban" didn't end abortion.

It simply removed the "doctor" from the equation and allowed the underground abortion pill market to fill the gap.

Recently, State Representative Ernie Yarbrough filed House Bill 518, the Prenatal Equal Protection Act.

This bill simply repeals the law that says abortion is not murder in Alabama.

What pro-life Alabamian wouldn't agree with that?

Sadly, there is a large group of establishment politicians who don't want to see justice for the preborn.

Many of these politicians have openly supported making Alabama's current abortion laws MORE permissive.

That's why it is crucial that we show Montgomery how serious we are about providing equal protection for those defenseless babies.
